Quilt with Mo Studio UpdateIt's a gorgeous Sunday morning and I've been out getting my hands dirty with some new plants. I love the Spring color smiling at me through the Studio windows. It certainly inspires me to quilt something light and light-hearted. I think I'll work up something with the Gypsy Rose Jelly Roll. This is a Newsletter that is offered through my website, and I've never used it before because it does not send to the whole list of interested Quilters. If you are reading this it's because you signed up on the website and you got a free pattern. I am so excited...I have a new kit you'll definitely want to see. It's a wall-hanging red, white, and blue flag to commemorate our nation's independence this Summer. The kit will come with ALL the fabrics you need (including the back, sleeve and binding), and the Thangles you'll want to use for half-square triangle Stars. This pattern is so easy it can be worked up in one day or less (depends on how many distractions you have). Visitors to the Studio the past two days have truly enjoyed seeing the sample and are really pleased with the $28.50 price. It measures 29" x 461/2". The best part is that it can be hung by either the short end, or the long end! A picture, you ask? Well, that's the sticky part.1)The flag is on the quilting frame, and 2) I've lost the charger to my camera. Giggle at Mo, that's okay! I'll have the picture to you by May 15th. Be sure to stop by the Studio when you can. I always love to see you! Mo Quilting with Mo |
