October 3rd Garage Sale/Open House
Are you sewing today, doing housework, running errands, or working at a job? Whatever your activity, take a few moments to remind yourself what you love about quilting. Just see if that doesn't put a smile in your heart!
Rain or shine: On Sat., October 3rd, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., I'm offering a quilters garage sale along with the Open House. You are invited to sign up for one of the tables I will have for displaying your quilting items. Each table is $10 to help me defray advertising costs, and it's great if you want to share a table with a friend. We'll use the 4-ft tables we have in the Studio. And what do you think of each table donating a small plate of cookies for all our guests?
The Fall Class Schedule is online, but you may want to check back from time to time as I add a new class here and there. The big news is the Block of the Month clubs: Green Piece and Underground Railroad. I'd love to have you join us if either of these quilts just sing out to you. And do take a look at the Kits. Of course I've put my favorite in there!
You'll notice there are hardly any day-time or evening classes scheduled. That's only because I'm unsure of what you would like. Please let me know if you'd like a week-day class for you and your friends.
And just in case you didn't know: you are always welcome to go to www.unitednotions.com and view the current and upcoming fabrics lines by Moda. See something you love? Let me know and I'll see if I can get it in the Studio Store for you, always at Studio special prices.
So, whatever you are doing today, I hope your special moment of daydreaming makes it easier.
